We believe in the Bible as the inerrant word of God and the sole
source of authority for those that have put their faith and trust
in Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto
all good works.
Our motto is resting in the shade of the cross referring to the
fact that our acceptance into heaven is a completed work of God
and is not dependent on our works put faith in the finished work
of Jesus Christ.
"Heb 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world."
We are a local church committed to our Lord's command in Matthew
28:19-20
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever
I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto
the end of the world. Amen."
To that end we offer a personal 10
week bible study on the basic truths of that new life in
Christ. Based on that verse in 2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are
